Somatic Therapy in Mountain Brook, Alabama for Trauma & Attachment Healing

Serving adults in Mountain Brook and the greater Birmingham, Alabama area who are seeking trauma-informed, nervous system-focused therapy.

You don’t have to spend years talking through every detail of your past to begin healing.

By gently working with your nervous system, meaningful change can begin right away, helping you feel more grounded, steady, and connected from the very start.

Nectar is the sweet, transformative essence that sustains and nourishes life.

When we experience trauma, our bodies often become a landscape of armor—a place of bracing, hiding, and survival. Over time, we lose touch with our natural vitality, and the world can begin to feel gray, heavy, or distant.

I chose the name Nectar Therapy because I believe that beneath the layers of protection, your essential sweetness—your 'nectar'—is still there, waiting & it is when we start to connect with and notice the good - the sweetness of life- & anchor ourselves there that maladaptive patterns change & deep healing happens.

In this space, we don't just talk about the past; we work with the living wisdom of your nervous system to gently soften the armor. Through somatic therapy, we provide space for your body to soften into the safety it needs, allowing you to release stored tension and return to the vibrant, grounded life you deserve.

It is time to stop just surviving. It is time to rediscover the sweetness of life.
